Sunil  		Is Anil Kumble a right choice as the new captain of Indian Test team?
Sachin refused the offer to lead team India, Dhoni is still too young, Yuvraj\\\'s spot in the test squad is yet not confirmed and Dada doesnt seem to be selectors\\\' choice any more. So guys, do you think veteran Kumble is a fair choice?? Or you have other opinion..

well, I am not convinced with this idea of selecting Anil as an Indian captain. He is a good bowler but i do not think that he can really take those kind of decision required to win the game like Ricky Ponting. Well he may or may not win the game but to decide the game plan and do the things in the ground is a different matter.

MSD might be the right one. I would say that if you call saurav for the captainship he will be agree for the responsibility.

i am not agree with Sachin because Anil Kumble is a good bowler and highest wicket taker bowler in India and he is also having the 5th position of taking wicket in cricket world. he is having around 20 years experience. he is the second bowler in the world who take all 10 wicket in any innings. and we can not compare a person with the other because everybody have their own strenghts and weakness. no doubt that Ricky Ponting is a good captain. but if we compare him with Dhoni then we will find that Dhoni stand nowhere in front of the Ponting as a captain. and recently Australia team defeat India in his home. it does not mean that Dhoni is not good a good captain or we should not give him captain ship. because a team does not depend captain only. Selectors, coach, players,cricket board play a important role to make a good team. and in the last i would say that we should give at least one chance to Anil Kumble to prove his experience as a successful captain, and only after that we can get conclusion that he deserver for the captainship of India or not ? and then we are free to say anything about him.

yes i think he is having a long experience in both test and oneday internationals. so BCCI should utilize his experience and talent.

For the time being. I mean what`s harm in having someone who is leading a winning side. I believe he is the only bowler who can stand out from the rest. If personal achievement is criteria than as Sachin or any other batsman has scored so many centuries so does Mr. Anil Kumble. If you will see the stats there are more matches single handedly won by him. What`s more important winning matches or glorifying in centuries. I am not saying Sachin or any other are inferior to him. It`s just that, at this moment he is the best choice. Generally in India, Batsman are stars because we seldom see great bowling performance but hitting 4s and 6s are rather easy. Moreover, cricket over the years is getting inclined towards batsman. There are more restriction on bowlers than on batsman. Think about it.
