Apollo Gleneagles Kolkata and Dr. Dhiman Sen killed my mother, how do I complaint against them? |
| My mother (68) was admitted to Apollo Gleneagles Kolkata with abdominal pain on 26th May. She was diagnosed with acute pancreatitis. She was admitted to ICU. She had signs of respiratory problem the next evening but she was just put on oxygen. At midnight, we got a stress call from hospital that she is very critical. We rushed to the hospital to find that she has been ventilated. And surprisingly enough, the doctor in-charge Dr. Dhiman Sen (who himself bogusly claims himself as the best doctor in WB and knew about the crisis, beware, he is a killer doctor) had his mobile switched off all through the night. We had to rush to get a ICU specialist at 2 a.m. in he morning, who came and saved her for the time being.
Later on she was in ICU for 24 days and all through these days they never could make her even sit or talk. After one week, they mentioned that she has acquired AcenetoBactor from ICU, which is a deadly bacteria causing lungs failure. Slowly, she was pushed to death in 24 days. |

you must have solid proff with you before you sue the hospital or a doctor. if you got justice, doctor might be taken to behind bar including his practice license or degree will also be cancelled. take care my friend

I am very sorry for your mother. May god help you. may god bless your mother soul. Well as far as the issue is concern, you as a victim can claim on the hospital authorities plus on the doctor as well. You have to visit the consumer court with all the available avidences with you. Explain them everything happened with your mother in the hospital.
You must also consult with the other doctor before you go to the court whether you are on the right track. bcoz if you sue any big hospital, they might have there reputation in the society and they might frame you somewhere. But dont worry. do to them and see what they can do for you.. good luck

It seems Sourav you are quite intelligent and have a good grasp of medical stuffs. Since you have put forward this question over here, all I believe is you were unable to access local help of friends or relatives. No one bothers in such situatations too, so you should solace yourself and try on your own...for jub koi na ho sath toe phir ekla chalo ray. I believe you will have the satisfaction of getting justice someday. Until then you can try to forgive the guilty and simultaneously try to address your sufferings to KaliJi. She will definately do justice, after all no one can be migiter than Goddess Kali. It is also imperative that you should try to expose the scandal among innocent people so that they are properly informed and can make wise decisions. Last but not least don`t keep anything in your heart, hit out with all your might, if you can...for it is also necessary to check culprits from doing further damage to society. Just remember that...there are not many innocent people around, and here I am trying to make some sense in this difficult time of yours. I am deeply aggrieved on the demise of your mother. Sourav remember too that everyone has to leave this world sooner or latter, and isn`t it is better that she has moved to a place where there is no worries or problems, after all that what you will like to happen with her that she has a trouble free life. It is however seems ironical, but that`s how life goes. No one is exception to it.
