Sudhir
Are unit link insurance plan or pension plan for long term?
I am thinking to invest in unit link insurance plan or pension plan , my thinking is only to invest for the periods of 3 or 4 years concern agent are showing dreams that if you invest rs 25000/- annually after 3 years if you wish to surrender the complete policy you can , you will get rs 150000/- of your invested rs 75000/- is that true or I have to pay surrender charges or both the plans are not for 3 or 4 years but for long term i.e 10 or 15 years please give me the direction , thank you .

today as market is growing, i believe unit linked should be the best option. you can ask your bank where they are investing your money and you can keep a track if those companies. they normally go for infrastructure, real estate, and some front line stocks.

First And foremost, you have to enquire about the whole market, like whats running in market. but ulips is much better then pension plans in some conditions. For more information to regarding ulips and pension plans visit : www.bimadeals.com

To get good returns one should stay invested in ULIP for 10-15 years. The plan has a exit option at the end of 3 years. This does not mean you will get good returns within that period. ULIP charges the premium allocation charges in the very first year as such good returns are not possible within a short term of 3-4 years.
